Influencer Spotlight - Ashlee White

Tell us a bit about yourself?

Hello, I’m Ashlee. I’m a content creator based on the Central Coast of NSW, just an hour north of Sydney. You can find me at @_ashlee_white_ on Instagram where I share my home and love of interiors. I live with my fiancé Ben and our two adorable chihuahuas Charlotte and Moon. I have a background in fashion design and love all things creative. When I'm not capturing moments, you'll find me snuggled up on the couch with my fur babies, a cup of tea, and my crochet in hand.

What does your home mean to you?

To me, home is more than just a physical place, it's a sanctuary of comfort and creativity. It's the space where I relax, recharge, and draw inspiration. I am intentional about curating a home that emanates tranquillity and allows for creativity to flow, which is why I lean towards a minimalist style and a neutral colour palette.

What is your favourite room in your home, and why?

My favourite room in our home is the media room. It's the heart of our evenings, where our family gathers to relax and enjoy quality time together. We recently upgraded to the new Riley Muse Sofa from James Lane, and it's incredibly comfy and plush. It has made our movie nights even more inviting, the perfect spot for us to cuddle up and get cosy!

How did you get interested in interiors and design?

My interest in interiors and design comes from my creative nature and my experience in fashion design. Working in the fashion industry refined my eye for design, and I naturally gravitated towards applying those principles to my living spaces. Decorating my home feels similar to dressing it, allowing me to play with colours, textures, and patterns to create a space that reflects my personal style.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find most of my inspiration from Instagram and Pinterest. YouTube is another go-to, with The Local Project and Architectural Digest being a couple of my favourite channels for design content.

What are your top tips for a well styled home?

My top tips for a well-styled home are keep it intentional, choose a style you love and play with textures.

What is your go to Friday night indulgence to wind down from a busy week?

If the sun is out, I’m spending my weekend at the beach. I love a refreshing ocean swim!

Last question! What are your top 3 picks from James Lane?

Picking just three favourites from James Lane is a challenge because my home is filled with their pieces. If I had to choose, the top spot goes to the Riley Muse Sofa, it's incredibly plush and comfy. Following closely at 2 and 3 are the Eden Boucle Bed paired with the Mars Side Tables. I love the textures and organic feel they bring to my bedroom.
