Promoter

The promoter is Sleeping Giant Pty Ltd trading as James Lane (ABN 50 134 349 894) of 90–100 Lee Holm Road, St Marys NSW 2760 (“Promoter”).

 

Competition Period

The promotion is an ongoing monthly trade promotion commencing at 12:00am AEST on 1st August.

Each monthly competition period begins on the first calendar day of the month and ends at 11:59pm AEST on the final calendar day of that month (“Monthly Competition Period”).

Eligible entries received during each Monthly Competition Period will be entered into that month’s prize draw only.

 

Eligibility

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

Employees of the Promoter, associated agencies and their immediate family members are ineligible to enter.

 

How To Enter

To enter, eligible entrants must during the Competition Period:

1. Submit a genuine review on a James Lane product purchased by the entrant; and
2. Provide a valid email address when submitting the review.

Limit of one (1) entry per reviewed product.

Reviews may be positive, neutral or negative. Entrants will not improve their chances of winning by submitting a positive review.

Incomplete, misleading, fraudulent or inappropriate entries may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion.

 

Review Guidelines

Reviews must:

• Reflect the entrant’s honest experience with the product;
• Not contain offensive, defamatory or misleading content;
• Not infringe the rights of any third party;
• Not include unlawful or inappropriate material.

The Promoter reserves the right to moderate, refuse or remove reviews that breach these Terms & Conditions or the website review guidelines.

Prize

At the conclusion of each Monthly Competition Period, one (1) winner will receive:

• A $1,000 James Lane Gift Card.

Total monthly prize pool value: AUD $1,000.

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

Gift Card usage is subject to James Lane Gift Card terms and conditions.

 

Winner Selection

This is a game of chance.

One (1) winner will be randomly drawn at the end of each Monthly Competition Period from all eligible entries received during that month.

Each monthly draw will take place within five (5) business days of the end of the applicable Monthly Competition Period at:

Winner Notification

Each monthly winner will be notified by email within five (5) business days of the relevant draw date.

The winner’s first initial, surname and postcode may also be published on the James Lane website and/or social media channels where required by law.

Changes Or Cancellation

The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, modify or cancel the ongoing monthly promotion at any time, subject to applicable Australian laws and regulatory requirements.

If the promotion is cancelled, the Promoter will honour all valid entries received during the final active Monthly Competition Period and will conduct the final advertised draw in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

 

Unclaimed Prize

If the prize is not claimed within three (3) months of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw.

Any redraw will take place at the same location as the original draw on the 15th of each month.

Verification

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants, including proof of purchase and identity.

The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms & Conditions.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for:

• Late, lost or misdirected entries;
• Technical malfunctions;
• Website or platform interruptions;
• Any injury, loss or damage arising from participation in the promotion or use of the prize.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Privacy

By entering, entrants consent to the Promoter collecting and using their personal information for the purposes of administering the promotion and contacting the winner.

Entrants may also receive marketing communications from James Lane unless they opt out.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the James Lane Privacy Policy.

General

The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the promotion if necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Permit numbers will be added where required under relevant Australian state and territory legislation.
