Make sure to avoid direct sunlight on any timber, painted or fabric products. Strong sunlight can cause colour fading unevenly on the sections exposed. This is unavoidable characteristic of colours and finishes.Also avoid placing the furniture within 1-2 metres to a heater or fireplace. Timber products will expand and contract with temperature and humidity changes. If subjected to a strong source of heat or sudden changes in temperature and humidity, it will be much more likely to crack / split. This applies to all timber products.*To clean timber furniture, make sure to only use damp cloth with water. Avoid soap / detergents / solvents as this will damage the finished surface of the furniture. Spills should be wiped off immediately as timber products are porous, and if left too long, may stain the surface. Light water marks usually will dry over a few days, but in cases where liquid have been left on for more than a few minutes, can leave a mark permanently.
