FEATHER & SOFT FILL CARE
Let’s be honest: we all have a spot we love on our sofas!
However, how you sit and use your sofa can affect its look andyour warranty. Natural settlement at the point most used will occur and repeated or continual pressure put on these areas of your seating cushions can cause uneven settlement which is not covered under you warranty.
Feather and soft fill cushions hold a lot of air. It’s the air that makes the cushions soft and gives it loft, or fullness. The easiest way to prevent flattening is to occasionally turn cushions. If possible, also rotate your pillows so you’re not sitting in the same place all the time. Plumping is another important task, which involves light squeezing and shaking of the cushions to redistribute and unclump the cushion insert.
Avoid sitting or laying on the edges and sides of the cushion as it can cause the breakdown of the foam causing them to flatten and lose their density, firmness and form.
What's the difference between Feather Down and Poly Fill Cushions?
Our Feather Down and Poly Fill cushions look and feel very similar. We engineer our shredded Poly Fill to mimic the decadent, sink-in experience associated with feather-filled cushions, and truthfully, sometimes we can't even tell the difference.
Our Poly Fill consists of entirely vegan poly fibre, while our Feather Down is a mix of ethically sourced feather, ethically sourced down, and vegan poly fibre.
Both fills are loose and contents will shift around and shape to your favourite spots over time. Regular fluffing is strongly encouraged for both Feather Down and Poly Fill seat or back cushions to keep them looking and feeling like their prettiest, perkiest selves.
